The War Dept. Office of Dependency Benefits at Newark, N. J., which disburses allowances and allotments to more than 12 million Army dependents, marked its 2nd anniversary by issuing its 51,644,751st check. A total of four and half billion dollars have been issued to dependents of men in the Armed Forces.
