Men of Hqs. Btry. 133rd had waited a long time for this particular morning the morning that the bugler, Sgt. Warren C. Block, Beaver Dam., Wis., failed to awaken for reveille. Previously, 1st Sgt. Charles E. Dove, Miami, Okla., had laid down the law about absence from reveille. It resulted in a three hour hike for the entire group. “As if I didn’t have troubles enough,” explained bugler Block, “Even before this happened, I couldn’t stand under a window.”
